A formal Itreyan term for sir or lord. It can be used as a title, e.g., Don Corvere (Lord Corvere), or as an address, e.g., Mi Don (My Lord). The term is usually utilized alongside a surname, e.g., Darius Corvere is Don Corvere, but it has, on occasion, been used with a given name, e.g., Tric is Don Tric. While the term was undoubtedly coined by the affluent upper classes, it is used by the entire Itreyan Republic, regardless of the formality of the situation or the context of its use.
